About Earth Alive

Our Story

Earth Alive began as a shared dream between three families - a dream rooted in the belief that people and nature thrive best when they grow together. What started as a quiet intention slowly took shape into a living, breathing space designed to bring communities closer to the land, and to one another.

From the very beginning, Earth Alive was never meant to sit on the land, but to exist with it. Every decision - from where a structure stands to how a path curves - was guided by the idea of working with nature rather than against it. The trees were not obstacles; they became anchors. The landscape wasn’t something to tame, but something to listen to.

Here, we want people to feel like they’ve stepped into an escape - not the kind that disconnects you from life, but one that gently pulls you back into it. A place that feels mindful, intentional, and deeply connected to the natural world around it.

Sustainability is not a feature at Earth Alive - it is a way of living. We strive to leave a minimal carbon footprint through thoughtful, conscious choices. All our electricity and water heating needs are powered by solar energy. We use septic systems that work harmoniously with the land, and much of our construction embraces reuse and upcycling. Our bunk-bed stays, for instance, are crafted from repurposed shipping containers, transformed into warm, earth-toned living spaces surrounded by green.

At its heart, Earth Alive was imagined as a home away from home - a place nestled among trees, where mornings are slower, nights are quieter, and the ground beneath your feet reminds you to stay present. Whether you come to rest, create, gather, or celebrate, our hope is that you leave feeling a little more grounded than when you arrived.

Earth Alive is not just a destination.
It is an invitation - to live gently, consciously, and a little closer to nature.
